Our first Sunday rehearsal is around the corner this Sunday, January 12th, 2020!

What do I need to know about Sunday rehearsals?

Sunday rehearsals are tremendously fun and the whole cast and crew get to be together!! :)
They always take place on the Lower School Campus in the theatre and Arts Wing.

All pickup and drop off will be done through the carpool lobby at the lower school. Please form a single-file line in our carpool lane for pick up.

Please pack a water bottle for all the practices. We will be providing a snack on Sunday rehearsals in February. For January, you are welcome to send a snack and/or lunch in. Beginning in late February we will provide the opportunity for students to purchase pizza. More information about pizza purchasing will come in the week preceding our offering it. Please note that there will be no food or drinks permitted in the theatre at any time. In addition, there is no eating or drinking in the atrium.

As in years past, the MS Cast (LS cast and crew if staying longer than 2 hours) is allowed to bring a lunch beginning the first Sunday rehearsal as your rehearsals are longer.

THE CREW may stay for whatever duration of Sunday rehearsal they would like to from January to late February Sunday rehearsals. Reminder: Crew must attend ALL rehearsals the two weeks prior to the opening of the show plus the show performances (if on running crew) and strike. These dates are MARCH 10-MARCH 24. Tech week is mandatory for ALL crew members.

LS Students will leave their backpacks, sweatshirts…etc in the theatre lobby atrium along the brick wall. MS Students will keep their belongings in the dining hall or arts wing hallway.

Should you arrive after carpool concludes or need to pick up early, you will need to call the theatre sound booth phone (678-527-3328) to let us know you are at the front door. There will not always be someone near the booth phone (or checking email), so the best plan is to please come and leave at the designated times. Please keep this at a minimum as we want to make the most out of our practice time.

Please do not make food or drink deliveries during rehearsal times.

The rehearsals are only for cast and crew. We ask that only parents, siblings, and friends who have been preassigned to volunteer come into the building during the rehearsal times.

Sunday Rehearsal Reminder for LS Cast members

Lower School cast members are asked to attend Sunday rehearsals, (they must attend at least 3 of the 5), on January 13, January 27, February 3, February 10 and February 24.
Sundays March 8 and March 15 are mandatory for all cast and crew. If you communicated to Ms. Kendrick and Mr. Frank at the time of registration that you are out of town/have a special engagement or mitzvah on one of the mandatory Sundays, you are excused from that practice.

Show Performance Assignments

All lower school cast members will appear in all 4 shows (3 open audience shows and the show for our preschool guests/lower school friends). Middle School Cast determinations will be made in early February.
