Parents & Students please read in full, fill out & send in the MS Cast/Crew registration packet located here once you have been registered you will be added to the Davis LMS musical group(s).
The crew may work the auditions as stage managers. Please note the audition schedule located under forms.

Once your registration form with activity fee is received, you may pick up your script and full cd to prepare for the audition & callbacks. The script is yours to keep. ALL Cast and Crew members receive these materials plus a show shirt. The crew also receives a crew shirt in addition to their show shirt.

FAQs
What grades may be on the Crew?
When does the crew attend rehearsals?
- The crew is open to Mrs. Brown's Pioneers as Jr. Crew and all 6th - 8th graders who serve in Sr. Crew positions.
When does the crew attend rehearsals?
- Crew attends Sunday rehearsals beginning in January for any duration of the scheduled rehearsal day they can attend and work productively. These are OPTIONAL.
- The crew is required to attend the first read-through in December and all rehearsals the two weeks prior to the opening of the show plus the show performances (if on running crew) and strike.
- The crew may also attend weekly optional rehearsals as needed and are invited to help with stage management of auditions.
Can MS Crew participate in sports and the musical?
- Yes! There are no winter sports conflicts with the play only a few rehearsals that overlap with Spring sports. Please read the information packet for more details or contact Ms. Kendrick.
What if I am not sure if I want to be on the crew or on stage?
What crew positions are needed?
- Running crew help which assists all aspects of the show during its performances from curtain openings/closings, to setting up the sets/scenes, props handling, getting characters into positions, assisting with special effects like fog machines, and more!
- During the rehearsals, help is needed with organizing all costumes, props, inventory, as well as assisting with making costumes, getting sizes, writing downstage directions, helping with running music, making prompt books, rehearsing, and more. Being a self-directed leader and a collaborative team member who takes direction well is a huge plus!
