REMINDERS & INFO FOR MONDAY CALLBACK

HI EVERYONE!

Thank you cast, crew, and alumni mentors for your professionalism Thursday during our first callback day.

This Monday, November 25,  as we discussed in callbacks today, there will be an open session in the theatre from 7:30am to 8:30am for those who would like to work on character development, get off book for the callback scenes and songs, and learn dance steps for the 8:30am until 12pm callback. We strongly encourage all actors to work on their character development as discussed with the panel on Thursday in our ending feedback session.

EVERYONE will be attending from 8:30m until 12:00. At 12:00ish, we will dismiss the first wave of auditioners. The second callback will begin after lunch break at 12:25ish, we will be done by 4:30ish and hope to get everyone out as soon as possible. Everything happens in real-time if we see what we need to see from each actor to make a decision we will be able to dismiss students throughout the day and not keep every actor until the end of callbacks. If you are dismissed at 12:00pm, you may stay in the theatre/arts wing of the lower school until your ride is able to pick you up.


Please remember to take direction, make specific choices, speak slowly, loudly and clearly, and to understand who you are, where you are, what you are saying/singing, and why you are saying singing it. WORK ON CHARACTER DRIVEN MOVEMENT- SEE IMAGE AT END OF POST ON WHAT THIS MEANS!!!

You are strongly encouraged to please PACK your food and bring with you. If delivering you must have it delivered as close to 12pm as possible- it will be a busy campus with conferences and there will not be time to wait for delivery services, our lunch break is from 12 to 12:28ish.
