MS CAST REHEARSALS NEXT WEEK:
MS CAST: Please be mindful that the schedule is still subject to change as to what character(s) are called or duration of rehearsal time over the next several weeks and months as sometimes a scene is blocked more quickly than expected and sometimes a dance number takes much longer to teach and learn than expected. We will ALWAYS attempt to try and give two weeks' notice or more to ANY changes in the MS rehearsal schedule. You will never receive a change in the week of that modified practice.
I will be adding our missed rehearsal from Tuesday to the following week's schedule. The changes will be posted on Sunday.
This is my cute begging face asking for the remaining LS and MS Costume forms which are outstanding to be submitted asap!

Show Performance Assignments
All lower school cast members will appear in all 4 shows (3 open audience shows and the show for our preschool guests/lower school friends). MS Cast also appears in all 4 shows in varying roles and capacities.
Middle School Cast Principal and Supporting role show date/time performance determinations will be made in the near future and will be posted by Sunday 2/9/20 advance of Sponsor Seating online reservations going live on 2/11/20.
In addition to posting information on the LMS system and our blog, we have an additional communication app available as an additional resource for those who would like to receive message reminders.
We LOVED using Remind last year. Many of you loved it so much, you have asked if we could/would be using it again. YES! The cast has been selected and the rehearsals are in full swing for our endearing and exciting production of Frozen, Jr., which will take place in the Rosenberg Performing Arts Theatre, located at the Lower School! Almost 150 Mechina through eighth grade students will participate in this performance both on stage and as members of the crew, not to mention more than 50 Davis Academy alumni who will be returning to school to work with students as part of our alumni mentor program.
We invite you to support our upcoming musical production and our theatre and fine arts programs in a special way. Your patronage allows us to maintain our artistic excellence and provides the professional expertise, artistic materials and supplies necessary to produce an all-school Broadway-style, student-centered production as outstanding as Frozen, Jr.Like other independent schools of our caliber, we are pleased to offer you sponsorship opportunities, which include special benefits associated with the Frozen, Jr. production:Sponsor Benefits:
- Preselect premium seating for any of the three shows.
- Sunday, March 22 at 1:00 pm
- Sunday, March 22 at 7:00 pm

- Acknowledgement in the Playbill and Annual Donor Report
- Reserved parking at the Lower School
- Cost: $150 per ticket ($135 is tax deductible) - To be purchased online in advance of public ticket sales.
We will once again have an online reservation process for Sponsor Seating, which will open on February 11th at 8:00 am and will close at February 25th at 8:00 am. Sponsor reservations are available in advance of public ticket sales, which will begin in the pre-dawn hours of February 27th. As we expect high demand for tickets, please be aware that sponsor seating will not be available after sales are open to the general public.If you are interested in becoming a Sponsor of the Arts, please click here between February 11th and February 25th to select and purchase your seats at the sponsorship rate of $150 per ticket (please note the system will only allow you to process 6 tickets or $900 in any one transaction).If you have additional questions, please contact Drew Frank, dfrank@davisacademy.org.Thank you in advance for your support!
